Monger and Osegueda v. Cactus Salon & Spa's LLC. et al.
Neil H. Greenberg & Associates, PC., has instituted a collective action litigation
against Cactus Salon & Spa, LLC. Cactus Salon & Spa is one of Long
Islands largest hair salons with 28 locations. This lawsuit was brought on behalf
of the hard working Hair Stylists and Shampoo Assistants based upon the employers
alleged failure to pay overtime wages for all hours worked, as well as minimum wages
and regular wages.
Plaintiff (Name intentionally omitted) v. Verizon New York, Inc
Neil H. Greenberg & Associates, PC., has sued Verizon New York, Inc.
on behalf of an former employee, for the alleged violations of the Family and Medical
Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Title VII of the Civil Rights
Act. This lawsuit includes allegations that the employer terminated the employee
as a direct result of the employee's limitations and disability arising out of the
employee's suffering the ravages of sickle cell anemia.
Scott Byrne v. Van Name Estates, et al
Neil H. Greenberg & Associates, PC., has instituted this action against Van
Name Estates, commercial property builder/ owner, on behalf of the
Plaintiff, an employee of a subcontractor on the job site for personal injuries
that he sustained as a result of the defendants' alleged violations of the New York
State Labor Law §§ 200, 240(1), 241-a and 241(6)(Scaffold Law). The plaintiff also
seeks damages based upon common law negligence. The Plaintiff fell from an elevated
work place and landed in the basement resulting in his sustaining grievous physical
injuries.
Ercole v. CPS 1 Realty LP
Neil H. Greenberg & Associates, PC., has brought an action against CPS 1 Realty
LP. Tishman Construction Corporation of New York, R.P, Brennan General Contractors
& Builders, Inc. and Ibex construction, LLC on behalf of the plaintiff.
The Plaintiff seeking to recover damages for serious personal injuries that he sustained
as a result of the defendants' alleged violations of the New York State Labor Law
§§ 200, 240(1), and 241(6)(Scaffold Law). The plaintiff also seeks damages based
upon common law negligence. In this case the Plaintiff plummeted to the ground as
a result of a defective ladder utilized by the General Contractor at the workplace.
